| Kaleidoscope
       kaleidoscope took her dreams
to the back of the park where the sorrowful few would make love in the dark
on a landscape that enters and exits our own
where you fall sleep and you wake up all alone
 life's begunlike a potion
 going down
 coming on
 getting stronger
 waiting for me
the sun the earth the moon
 eclipse
 i'm standing on the shore
 do i look real deep
color the trees color the skies
 color my dreams
 cover my eyes
 colors are broken
 fragments and signs
 kaleidoscope
 you'll shine
violin in her heart she was flesh and blood
 organism of silence
holds her breath in the flood
 inside a wall
 in electric fall
float through the summer of sound waves
 cries for one and all
and she runs like the wind
 cries like the wind
flies like the wind as she dies
 and she burns like sin
 as the sun closes in
 kaleidoscope
you are always in my mind
color the trees color the skies
 color my dreams
 cover my eyes
 colors are broken
 fragments and signs
 kaleidoscope
 you'll shine
  kaleidoscope took her dreams
to the back of the park where the sorrowful few would make love in the dark
on a landscape that enters and exits our own
where you fall sleep and you wake up all alone
going to wake up alone and everything turns to stone
 now she leaves my skies
as if she had never shown
 just life broken glass
 in my eyes a melancholy
flash these colors seem to fade
color the trees color the skies
 color my dreams
 cover my eyes
 colors are broken
 fragments and signs
 kaleidoscope
 you'll shine
